Something about us...
10 years ago a mini club was set up meeting at a public house on the outskirts of Dartmoor, at the Burrator Inn, Dousland.
Since those heady days of a few members, club splits,we moved around from venue to venue, looking for a home. Anyway we ended at the Lyneham Public House at Plympton, Plymouth. Where we meet every Tuesday night at about 8pm.
The facilities at the Lyneham Public House suit us - with a large car park - friendly atmosphere - or course, a fine selection of Beer and space.
We welcome any mini owners, regardless of condition age or make.
The membership for the Tamar Valley Mini Club numbers well above 50 and we are still looking for new mebers.
The memebrship fee is teeny compared to some other places, £5 and you have a free window sticker as well!
We organise trips, treasure hunts, meeting other mini owners and attend the shows.
The club is run by the members for the members and not run by committee.
We have a club secretary and a membership secretary and thats it!!!
Essentially it is for the owners of minis, and the love of them.
We do have our residential experts who are very knowledgable and willing to help in any situation, provided they dont get their hands too dirty.
Our History
Our club has had minis featured in one of the more prestidious mini magazines, and we are looking for more to go that way.
And as mentioned - this is our tenth anniversary
